Halloween

I thought about writing a long post about why it's OK to celebrate Halloween. And how doing so isn't 'conforming to the ways of the world' or 'giving the devil a foothold' or 'allowing evil spirits a way into our lives' or anything like that.

I also thought about making this post be about "Fall Festivals." You know, the party that churches (or schools in Bible belt areas) like to host on or about Halloween that aren't actually called Halloween parties. But they have kids dress up in costumes, can include haunted houses, getting candy, bobbing for apples, pumpkin carvings and other sorts of revelry. But it's NOT Halloween!  We're so clever!!
