Maundy Thursday

Today is Maundy Thursday, the day that commemorates the last supper. When Jesus took the passover seder meal, and transformed it into something more for his followers.

I love legos

Instead of writing up something about today, I'm just linking to a post I wrote about 5-6 months ago. Beware, it's slightly long, but contains a really good amount of information about the last supper, and comparisons to the traditional passover seder meal.

Hope you find time today to remember this ritual. Maybe take communion at a church that offers a Maundy Thursday service.

Or even just doing communion with your own family and/or close friends...now there's a concept ;)

Do you personally celebrate Maundy Thursday? (celebrate is a weird word...I know)

For that matter, do you ever take communion in a non-church setting?

What do you think about that?
